Effective October 1, 2026, the Township of White River has implemented a 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT). This page is designed to provide accommodation providers with the information and resources needed to understand their responsibilities, including registration, collecting the tax, reporting, and remitting the MAT to the Township.
Register Your Short-Term Accommodation
If you operate a B&B, Airbnb, short-term rental, hotel, motel, or other accommodation within the Township of White River, you are required to register your accommodation with the Municipality.
