Stop by the White River Heritage Museum and discover the rich history of White River, Ontario! The Museum has hundreds of items on display for all ages, including a specal exibhit for everyon'es favourite lovable old bear: Winnie The Pooh!

 

Historical Artifacts

Visit our vast historical exhibit, featuring:

  • Early CPR Artifacts: silver servers, a restored railway speeder, items used to repair tracks, a telegraph system, photos and more;
  • Antique Household Articles: an early kitchen display, an old wringer washing machine, a charming wood cooking stove, and more; and
  • A.J. Casson Artwork: a copy of the oil on wood sketch painted by A.J. Casson, the youngest member of the famous Canadian artists known as the Group of Seven.

 

Winnie the Pooh Display

We have an extensive and unique collection of Winnie the Pooh items. The largest collection we have received is the "Lisa Yee Collection" from Orlando, Florida. In addition, we have a gift shop featuring many Winnie the Pooh items for sale, including Winnie The Pooh mugs, plush Winnie characters, Royal Doulton figurines, the "Where it all Began" line, and a great deal more. Our display is a must see for any Winnie The Pooh fan!
